CILICIA, Tarsus. Claudius. AD 41-54. AR Tetradrachm (14.16 g, 12h). Bare head right / Zeus Nikephoros enthroned left; ΣΩ/EΛ to inner left. RPC 4117.1 = McAlee 234 = Prieur 41 (this coin, illustrated in RPC); cf. SNG Levante 985-7 (for rev. type). Fine, toned, shift strike on obverse. Extremely rare.
